Connect your Salesforce account and sync your Salesforce accounts, contacts, leads, or opportunities. Enable your sales team to close more deals by keeping your Salesforce CRM records up to date - without manual data entry. This integration will allow you to automate record creation and updates in Salesforce, seamlessly synchronize records between Dotfile and Salesforce, and receive real-time notifications whenever Salesforce records are created or modified.


Setup 

Connecting Dotfile to your Salesforce account requires a few simple steps within both Salesforce and Dotfile. 

  1. Create a custom object Dotfile Case with the following fields
  2. Go to client management app settings and under integration you will find Salesforce.
  3. Click on configure then connect and sign in to your Salesforce account.

Create a Dotfile Case directly from a Salesforce Opportunity

  1. Navigate to the relevant Opportunity within your Salesforce account.

  2. Within the Opportunity page, find the designated Dotfile section.

  3. Click on the option to add a new Dotfile Case.

  4. Enter the desired Dotfile Case Name and select the corresponding Contact from your Salesforce contacts.

  5. Once you've provided the necessary information, confirm the creation of the Dotfile Case. This will automatically trigger the Dotfile API to generate a new Case in your Dotfile account, populated with the data from the Salesforce Opportunity.
