Client Portal settings
The general settings of a portal, including its UUID and redirect behavior
The general settings of a Client Portal are:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| UUID of the Client Portal | Identifies the portal, which matters when you run several of them. The UUID is a path parameter in the portal URL. |
| Default template | The template applied when the workflow does not set a specific one. |
| Support email | The address contacts can write to when they run into an error. |
| Redirect URL | Where contacts are sent once all checks are complete. You can use the variables {caseId} and {externalId} in the URL, and they are replaced dynamically. |
| Allow creation of new cases from the client portal | Lets unknown users submit a case through the form. When it is off, the portal is only accessible to business contacts attached to an existing case, and they are taken straight to the check page. |
| Allow collaboration on the portal | Lets the primary business contact share access to the portal with other people. |
| Define link validity duration | How long the URL stays accessible before the contact has to authenticate again. |
